Free Holiday Concert in C.V. December 19

No tickets are required for this drop-in concert featuring a 60- piece band

 

From the Castro Valley Center for the Arts -

The public is invited to a free annual holiday concert featuring the 60-piece Castro Valley Community Band directed by Kathy Maier on December 19 at 7:30 p.m. at the Castro Valley Center for the Arts.

The all-volunteer band, under the auspices of the Castro Valley Adult and Career Education Center, will perform a wide array of music, including "Waltz of the Flowers"; "March of the Toys" from "Babes in Toyland"; "A Jingle Bell Fantasy"; "Klezmer Dances"; highlights from "Jersey Boys"; "Feliz Navidad"; "Where Eagles Soar"; "A Jammim' Caribbean Christmas" and other pieces of the season.

The concert will also include a sing-a-long and refreshments will be served.

The Castro Valley Center for the Arts is located at 19501 Redwood Road, on the campus of Castro Valley High School.
