Federal Budget Workshop Hosted by Rep. Eric Swalwell on Thursday Night

U.S. Representative Eric Swalwell and representative from the Concord Coalition will be at the Castro Valley Library on Thursday for a federal budget workshop.

The Concord Coalition is a nationwide, non-partisan grassroots organization that educated the public about different causes and consequences of federal budget decisions, according to a statement released by the office of Congressman Swalwell.

At the workshop, attendees will work in small groups to examine a variety of fiscal policy alternatives. They well also have the chance to share their ideas on how to improve the nation’s long-term fiscal outlook.

“I look forward to hosting this workshop with the Concord Coalition and hearing from my constituents about their budget priorities. I value the input of my constituents, and it will serve as an opportunity to have a conversation about the many factors involved in creating a national budget,” said Swalwell.

The workshop will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Castro Valley Library located at 3600 Norbridge Avenue.
