CV Kids Get Slimed October 24

Spectrum of Science sets up its "slime lab" at the library

A free hands-on science workshop recommended for kindergarten through fifth graders will be held at the Castro Valley Library October 24 from 4:30 to 5:30.

Spectrum of Science, a Bay Area educational foundation which provides after-school science education programs, will bring its "Slime Lab" to the library. Youngsters will learn the science behind polymers while mixing up gobs of goo and creating rubbery stretchy putty.

This popular workshop does not require advance registration, but there is a 50 student limit, so plan your arrival time accordingly.

The Castro Valley Library is located at 3600 Norbridge Avenue.
