College Applicants Get It "Write" At Nov. 18 Workshop

A free event for teens on how to write that all important college application essay

 

A free workshop for teens will be held November 18 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Castro Valley Library on how to complete a college application and write a personal statement essay.

Participants will learn about the steps in writing a winning personal statement and will get to critique a sample admissions essay. There will be a discussion of what college admissions officials are looking for in an application.
