Candidate filing documents may be obtained at the Alameda County Office of the Registrar of Voters beginning . We have listed the races that will be affecting both Castro Valley and San Lorenzo along with the candidates that have filed as of Aug. 10.

East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) Board of Directors:

Open Seats: Doug Linney, Ward 5 — comprised of the cities of Alameda and San Lorenzo, as well as West Oakland and the Oakland Airport area and a portion of San Leandro.

New candidates: None listed


East Bay Regional Park District (EBRPD) Board of Directors:

Open Seats: Doug Siden, Ward 4 — comprised of Alameda, a portion of Oakland, San Leandro, and San Lorenzo.

BART Board of Directors:

Open Seats: John McPartland, District 5 — comprised of Castro Valley (partial), Cherryland (partial), Dublin, Hayward (partial), Livermore, Pleasanton and Sunol.

Eden Township Healthcare District Board of Directors:

Open Seats: Ronald Hull, Rajendra Ratnesar

Bill Quirk & Pete Stark are vocal advocates for medical marijuana & they deserve the votes of the 80% of local voters who support their continued efforts on behalf of cannabis patients !!!
