Candidate Forums For County Board of Education, District 4 Supervisor, and 20th Assembly District

Eden Area LWV will hold two separate events on April 30 and May 2

The Eden Area League of Women Voters invites the community to come learn where candidates on the ballot in upcoming elections stand on important issues at two separate voter education forums.

The first forum will be held on April 30 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the , 3600 Norbridge Avenue, Castro Valley. 

Candidates vying for one seat on the Alameda County Board of Education  District 4 will make presentations between 6:30 and 7:15 p.m. Running for that seat are community educator, Aisha Knowles and educator Geraldine Sonobe.

From 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. and will speak. Both are running for one seat available representing District 4 on the Alameda County Board of Supervisors. 

The second forum will be held May 2 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Hayward City Hall Council Chambers at 777 B Street, Hayward

At that forum, Speakers will be Sarabjit Kaur Cheema,  Transportation Engineer Educator Mark Green, Mayor, Union City Jennifer Ong, Doctor of Optometry Bill Quirk, Hayward City Council member/Scientist and Luis Reynoso, Hayward Unified School District Governing Board Member.
