Library Book Sale August 17 Through 19
Friends of the Library hold their summer sale with an inventory of thousands of books and other media. Donations are still being accepted and volunteers are needed to help at the event.
It's time once again for the Friends of the Castro Valley Library to put on sale the massive collection of donated used books, DVD's, CD's, and VHS tapes it has accumulated since its last book sale to help support the library.
Mark your calendars for the weekend of August 17 through 19.
A members' preview sale takes place Friday, August 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. (You can join or renew your membership in the Friends of the Castro Valley Library at the door.)

The sale is open to the general public Saturday, August 18, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Sunday, August 19, the public can buy books by the bag from 1 to 4 p.m. The library will provide shoppers with a bag on Sunday. Each bag of books costs $3.
The sale will take place at the located at 3600 Norbridge Avenue in its Chabot and Canyon Rooms.

Donations of books and other media materials are still being accepted and volunteers are being sought to help with the sale.
