Agenda: Joint School Board Meeting with San Leandro City Council
San Lorenzo and San Leandro school boards along with the San Leandro CIty Council will meet tonight on addressing the needs of the children in both communities.
For the first time in nearly a decade, the San Leandro and San Lorenzo Unified School Districts will meet, along with the San Leandro City Council, to discuss various ways to meet the needs to children in both communities, .
They plan is to meet jointly on an annual basis. This first meeting will be held at the beginning at 7 p.m. Monday night.
On the agenda: a presentation by Supervisor Wilma Chan on the county's Adopt-A-School Program, a discussion on children's health issues in both districts, facilities and bond project updates, and the San Lorenzo school district's solar program.
