Violence Mars July 4 Celebrations, and Other Arrests

Arrests in San Lorenzo, Cherryland and Ashland between July 4 and July 10.

Sunday, July 10

  • 12:33 am: A 28-year-old Hayward man was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of methamphetamine and on a warrant for being in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested on the 20800 block of Mission Boulevard. (Cherryland)
  • 6:40 pm: A 57-year-old Hayward man was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of methamphetamine. He was arrested on the 22300 block of Meekland Avenue. (Cherryland)
  • 10:50 pm: A 46-year-old Hayward man was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested on the corner of Medford Avenue and Mission Boulevard. (Cherryland)

  • 12:04 am: A 40-year-old San Leandro man was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of methamphetamine and being in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested on the 15600 block of Washington Avenue. (San Lorenzo)
  • 1:55 am: A 47-year-old Hayward man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. He was arrested on the corner of East 14th Street and E Lewelling Boulevard. (Ashland)

  • 11:37 pm: A 46-year-old El Cerrito man was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence (DUI), being in possession of methamphetamine, and being in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested on the corner of Hacienda Avenue and Hesperian Boulevard. (San Lorenzo)

 

Tuesday, July 5

  • 9:44 am: A 18-year-old San Lorenzo man was arrested on suspicion of assault and violating a court order. He was arrested on the 17200 block of Via San Ardo. (San Lorenzo)
  • 2:36 pm: A 18-year-old Sacramento woman was arrested on warrants for forgery, burglary, and identity theft. She was arrested on the corner of Mission Boulevard and Blossom Way. (Cherryland)

 

Monday, July 4

  • 12:15 am: A 48-year-old Hayward man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. He was arrested on the 600 block of Bartlett Avenue. (San Lorenzo)
  • 3:49 pm: A 28-year-old Hayward man was arrested on suspicion of violating a court order. He was arrested on the 600 block of Bartlett Avenue. (San Lorenzo)
  • 4:55 pm: A 52-year-old Hayward man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, assault with a deadly weapon, and brandishing a firearm. He was arrested on the 100 block of Poplar Avenue. (Cherryland)
  • 7:34 pm: A 34-year-old Hayward man was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. He was arrested on the 600 block of Hampton Road. (Cherryland)
  • 8:45 pm: A 34-year-old Oakland man was arrested on suspicion of violating a domestic violence order. He was arrested on the corner of Meekland Avenue and Cherry Street. (Cherryland)
