'Unforeseen Medical Condition' Causes Woman to Crash Into Grove Way Street Light

Tracy Morton, 41, from Hayward suffered moderate injuries after crashing her car into the street light Friday afternoon.

A Hayward woman collided into a street light off Grove Way and E. Castro Valley Boulevard Friday afternoon after experiencing an "unforeseen medical condition," according to CHP.

Around 3:46 p.m., 41-year-old Tracy Morton was driving northbound on Grove Way, about to make a right turn at the E. Castro Valley Boulevard intersection, CHP Public Information Officer Daniel Jacowitz said.

Suddenly this medical episode occurred, causing her to lose control of her vehicle. She ended up crashing into a street light.
