Sheriff's Log: Arrests For Dumping Toxic Substances, Resisting Arrest and Smoking Meth

These recent arrests are drawn from the incident log at the Alameda County Sheriff's Department's Eden Township substation, serving Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, Ashland and Cherryland.

Thursday, February 21

A 31 year old Livermore man was arrested at 7:45 pm at Five Canyons Parkway and Old Dublin Road. He was taken into custody on suspicion of dumping hazardous substances, threatening an officer and resisting arrest.

Friday February 22

A 19-year-old Castro Valley man was taken into custody for resisting arrest. The apprehension occurred about an hour before midnight. The place of arrest was not listed.

Sunday, February 24

A 24-year old Hayward woman was arrested just minutes after midnight Saturday for possession of methamphetamine and a pipe for smoking it. She was apprehended on the 1700 block of A Street in Castro Valley.

At 11:18 pm sherriffs deputies arrested a 42-year-old Castro Valley man for hitting a police officer. The apprehension took place at Center Street and Grove Way in Castro Valley.

Monday, February 25

A 46 year old Castro Valley man was arrested in at 10:27 pm on the 3500 block of Castro Valley's Village Drive. He was charged with possession of methamphetamine and a smoking pipe.
