The Alameda County coroner's bureau has been notified because of a
confirmed fatality from the crash, Bartlett said. He said the driver of the
big-rig appears to be the person who died.

The entire connector ramp was blocked as of 10 a.m. due to the
crash, and there was no estimate for when it will reopen, Bartlett said.
