News reports Monday say that the gun used in the Oikos University shooting Monday has not yet been recovered.
There was speculation that it had been purchased in Castro Valley.
Oakland Police Chief Howard Jordan said at a live press conference Monday afternoon that police believe that suspect One L. Goh is from Oakland. It was initially reported that he was from Castro Valley.
The confusion may have arisen because the San Francisco Chronicle reports that the suspect lived in Castro Valley then Oakland after moving from Virginia.
