Masked Gunmen Rob Pineville Circle Home

The home invasion robbery is the second to occur in the past four days. Similarly, four to five suspects wearing masks and armed with guns robbed this home around 3 a.m. on Tuesday.

Another home invasion robbery has been reported in the past four days in Castro Valley.

Four to five suspects wearing masks and armed with guns targeted a home on Pineville Circle in the Palomares Hills area of Castro Valley around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday, according to a report from the neighborhood watch.

Castro Valley Patch was unable to reach Alameda County Sheriff's Office for further details.

According to the email from the neighborhood watch, it was unclear how the suspects entered the home or what was stolen. No injuries were reported.

A similar incident occurred on the 20000 block of Cypress Ranch Road on Dec. 7 around 3 a.m. Four to five suspects also armed with guns and wearing masks robbed the home.

"Given the bold nature of these home invasions, now is a good time to consider installing an alarm if you haven’t already," the email suggested. "Costco surveillance cameras are as low as $400 and provide real time information. Everyone should consider taking extra measures to secure their own safety."

If you have any information on this case, contact the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office Anonymous Tip Line at 510-667-3622.

Another problem: When notified of a reply to a comment I could click the link in the email to go toRead More the article. That was not possible this time. So because a small minority zooms there computer the layout should be as it is? I don't think so. All that white space means that an article that could be read with just one or two clicks to scroll through is now going to take more scrolling to view. One thing that seems to be missing in today's world are web designers who (1) change the layout just because and (2) web designers who have neglected to consider the audience. The more I look at this layout the less I like it. The font needs to be darker than it is. the blue (like in "announcements") needs to be bolder. Overall, on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 best), I rank the new "improved" design a 3.
