Man Wounded in Car-To-Car Shooting on I-880 Near San Lorenzo

No suspects or explanation for Monday evening incident that left one man injured.

Bay City News -- A man was shot in the shoulder [Monday] afternoon while driving through San Lorenzo, according to the Alameda County Sheriff's Office.

He was found suffering from a gunshot wound on Usher Street near Lewelling Boulevard shortly after 5 p.m., sheriff's Sgt. J.D. Nelson said.

The victim told investigators that he was driving with his cousin north on Interstate Highway 880 when a white car pulled up alongside of them, Nelson said.

The cousin told the victim, who was driving their car, that the man in the white car was trying to kill him.

The other driver fired at the two, hitting the driver in the shoulder. They pulled off the freeway to look for help, and the passenger ran away from the scene.

No suspects have been found.

Nice cousin, leaves his bleeding, wounded cousin. It's obvious from the story that the runaway cousin knew who shot at them.

Bunch of scumbags. I wish those idiots would learn to shoot better, then they'll just kill each other, instead of hitting bystanders all the time.
