Man Shot in Restaurant Robbery Was Parolee

A man shot while trying to rob a Castro Valley restaurant on Friday turns out to be a wanted parolee with quite the rap sheet, according to the San Francisco Chronicle

Quincy Williams, 32, of Oakland, was killed as he tried to rob Boulevard Burger on Castro Valley Boulevard, according to the story. He had been arrested many times before and had previous convictions for theft, robbery and drugs, according to the story.

He was killed by a sheriff's deputy who was conducting a nearby traffic stop and flagged down by a woman working in the restaurant, according to the Chronicle.
