A drinking party of college buddies in San Luis Obispo resulted in two tragic deaths and a four-year sentence for the driver responsible, according to the San Luis Obispo Tribune.
Driver Evan Green, 22, was sentenced for being intoxicated during the June 22, 2011, accident that resulted in the deaths of Marcus Nelson, 21, of Castro Valley, and Aaron Beaver, 21, of Eureka.
The accident occurred near San Luis Obispo where the trial was held. The paper described the courtroom as packed and tearful as the judge rendered sentence.
