Firefighters Use Helmet Camera During Ashland Fire Rescue

Alameda County Fire Department firefighters are starting to use cameras mounted on their helmets to get footage of fires they battle.

Tom Pappas of the Alameda County Fire Department was one of the first firefighters to test out a helmet camera while .

The crews will use the footage to review their procedures and provide the public with an inside look of what they face.
