Firefighters Battle Apartment Fire in Castro Valley
The fire occurred at 10:35 p.m. in the area of Jamison Way and Redwood Road.
Firefighters responded to a one-alarm fire at an apartment building in Castro Valley on Friday night, an Alameda County Fire Department dispatcher said.
Fire crews responded to a report of a structure fire at Jamison Way and Redwood Road around 10:35 p.m., the dispatcher said.
The blaze on the first floor of a two-story building was knocked down shortly before 11 p.m., according to the dispatcher.
No injuries were reported.
