DUIs and Spouse Abuse Top This Week's Arrests

Sunday, March 13

• 4 a.m.: A 20-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of methamphetamine. He was arrested on the corner of Somerset Avenue and Westeria Road.

• 12:52 a.m.: A 19-year-old Hayward man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI). His vehicle was pulled over on the corner of Castro Valley Boulevard and Crow Canyon Road.
  
• 6:15 p.m.: A 26-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested on suspicion of corporal injury to a spouse or co-habitant, child endangerment, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of parole. He was arrested on the 700 block of A Street.

• 2:49 a.m.: A 37-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested on suspicion of brandishing a weapon or firearm, assault with a deadly weapon, felony hit and run, driving while under the influence (DUI) and violation of probation. His vehicle was pulled over on the 20800 block of Baker Street.
• 10:40 a.m.: A 53-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of drug paraphernalia. His vehicle was pulled over on the 2500 block of San Carlos Avenue.

• 10:46 p.m.: A 40-year-old San Mateo man was arrested on suspicion of defrauding an shopkeeper/innkeeper. He was arrested at , 20925 Redwood Rd.

• 1:06 p.m.: A 51-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested on suspicion of corporal injury of a spouse and co-habitant. He was arrested on the 19500 block of Santa Malia Avenue.
