Drugs Arrests Top Police Activity This Week

Arrests by the Alameda County Sheriff's Office in Castro Valley between April 25 and May 1.

Sunday, May 1

12:03 pm: A 45-year-old Castro Valley woman was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, being under the influence of a controlled substance, violating probation, and on three warrants: drunk in public, being under the influence of a controlled substance and petty theft. She was arrested on the corner of Castro Valley Boulevard and Market Place.
12:33 pm: A 42-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence and felony child endangerment. He was arrested on the 19900 block of Santa Maria Avenue.
12:49 pm: A 50-year-old Castro Valley woman was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest. She was arrested on the 20900 block of Sherman Drive.

Saturday, April 30

11:35 am: A 36-year-old Salida woman was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of drug paraphernalia. A 51-year-old San Leandro man was also arrested on suspicion of being in possession of methamphetamine, driving while under the influence (DUI), and being under the influence of a controlled substance. They were arrested on the corner of Redwood Road and Castro Valley Boulevard.

Friday, April 29

7:08 pm: A 63-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public and violating probation. He was arrested on the corner of Grove Way and Cameron Street.

Thursday, April 28

1:10 am: A 20-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and assault with firearm. He was arrested on the 3700 block of Lorena Avenue.

Wednesday, April 27

8:05 am: A 39-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. He was arrested on the corner of North Third Street and Knox Street.
1:18 pm: A 19-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as two warrants for petty theft and being under the influence of a controlled substance. He was arrested on the corner of Lake Chabot Road and Barret Court.

Monday, April 25

7:34 pm: A 27-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested on a warrant for being drunk in public. He was arrested on Castro Valley Boulevard.
