  • 2:15 a.m.: A 21-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested public drunkenness, battery on an officer and resisting arrest. He was arrested on the 2800 block of Grove Way. (Castro Valley)

Friday, Sept. 28

  • 8:59 a.m.: A 23-year-old Oakland woman was arrested for a warrant of failure to appear in court. She was arrested on the 20800 block of Redwood Road. (Castro Valley)
  • 7:42 p.m.: A 20-year-old Castro Valley woman was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. She was arrested on the 22000 block of Center Street. (Castro Valley)

Thursday, Sept. 27

  • 10:54 a.m.: A 26-year-old San Lorenzo woman was arrested for welfare fraud. She was arrested on the corner of Grant Avenue and Nielsen Avenue on $35,000 bail. (San Lorenzo)
  • 10:46 p.m.: A 48-year-old San Lorenzo man was arrested for carrying a concealed dirk, dagger or explosive substance. He was arrested at the 1100 block of Kentwood Lane on $5,000 bail. (San Lorenzo)

Wednesday, Sept. 26

  • 2:20 p.m.: A 62-year-old Oakland man was arrested for theft and larceny. He was arrested on the 1100 block of Kentwood Lane. (San Lorenzo)
  • 3:27 p.m.: A 21-year-old Hayward man was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of a knife with a blade 2-and-a-half inches or longer in length. He was arrested on the 4600 block of Crow Canyon Road. (Castro Valley)
  • 5:25 p.m.: A 45-year-old San Lorenzo man was arrested for violating a domestic violence order. He was arrested on the 1100 block of Via Dolorosa. (San Lorenzo)
  • 8:46 p.m.: A 31-year-old San Leandro woman was arrested for resisting arrest. She was arrested the 17000 block of Via Pasatiempo. (San Lorenzo)

Tuesday, Sept. 25

  • 8:45 a.m.: A 50-year-old San Francisco man was arrested for contempt of court and a warrant for failure to appear in court. He was arrested on the corner of Redwood Road and Redwood Court. (Castro Valley)

Monday, Sept. 24

  • 4:52 p.m.: A 40-year-old San Lorenzo man was arrested for battery on Hesperian Boulevard near the I-880 overpass. (San Lorenzo)

Weed and a knife longer than 2.5 inches? Arrested for resisting arrest? Does anyone else think this is crazy? This is what goes for a free country nowadays?

I think it is utterly nuts. I want to know what the heck Criminal Trespassing is. Some of the Crime Blogs states just that a person was arrested for resisting arrest. God Lord what is this world coming too!
