Sunday, April 29

  • 12:29 a.m.: A 24-year-old Castro Valley manw was arrested for disorderly conduct and being drunk in public. He was arrested on Baker Road. (Castro Valley)
  • 9:46 a.m.: A 26-year-old Hayward man was arrested for intentionally interfering with a business, violating probation and burglary. He was arrested on the corner of Redwood Road and Castro Valley Boulevard. (Castro Valley)

Saturday, April 28

  • 1:50 a.m.: A 28-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested for vandalism. He was arrested on Rutledge Road. (Castro Valley)
  • 6:35 p.m.: A 20-year-old San Lorenzo man was arrested for resisting arrest. He was arrested on the 16000 block of Via Conejo. (San Lorenzo)
  • 7:50 p.m.: A 45-year-old Hayward man was arrested for disorderly conduct and being drunk in public. He was arrested on the 20000 block of Lake Chabot Road. (Castro Valley)
  • 10:27 p.m.: A 46-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. He was arrested on the 20000 block of Lake Chabot Road. (Castro Valley)

Friday, April 27

  • 7:20 p.m.: A 20-year-old San Lorenzo woman was arrestd for theft and larceny. She was arrested on the 15000 block of Hesperian Boulevard. (San Lorenzo)

Thursday, April 26

  • 7:57 p.m.: A 24-year-old San Lorenzo man was arrested for disorderly conduct and being drunk in public. HE was arrested on the 16000 block of Ashland Avenue. (San Lorenzo)

Wednesday, April 25

  • 5:41 p.m.: A 63-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested for disorderly conduct and being drunk in public. He was arrested on the 21000 block of Redwood Road. (Castro Valley)
  • 3:10 p.m.: A 39-year-old Castro Valley woman was arrested for arson and wreckless burning. She was arrested on the 2700 block of Perrich Avenue on $20,000 bail. (Castro Valley)

Tuesday, April 24

  •  1:08 a.m.: A 49-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. He was arrested on Schuster Avenue and Christensen Lane on $10,000 bail. (Castro Valley)
  • 4:31 p.m.: A 18-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested for theft and larceny. He was arrested on the 20000 block of Redwood Road. (Castro Valley)
  • 6:43 p.m.: A 45-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested for contempt of court. He was arrested on Center Street. (Castro Valley)

Another problem: When notified of a reply to a comment I could click the link in the email to go toRead More the article. That was not possible this time. So because a small minority zooms there computer the layout should be as it is? I don't think so. All that white space means that an article that could be read with just one or two clicks to scroll through is now going to take more scrolling to view. One thing that seems to be missing in today's world are web designers who (1) change the layout just because and (2) web designers who have neglected to consider the audience. The more I look at this layout the less I like it. The font needs to be darker than it is. the blue (like in "announcements") needs to be bolder. Overall, on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 best), I rank the new "improved" design a 3.
