CHP Conducting DUI, Driver License Checkpoint in Hayward on Saturday
Officers will be in Hayward on July 19 between 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol will conduct a driver license/sobriety checkpoint in Hayward this weekend.
The checkpoint will be held on July 19 between 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
According to a statement released by CHP, "The checkpoint will be clearly marked and placed on a roadway with an established DUI problem or concern. A key objective of the checkpoint is to reduce the number of drinking drivers on the road, rather than produce a dramatic increase of arrests."
