Cherryland Man Tied Up During a Residential Burglary

A trio of gunmen tied up a man in his own home during a home invasion.

A man was tied up inside his Cherryland home and robbed by a trio of gunmen on Sunday morning.

The three men taped the 23-year-old man’s hands, feet and mouth as they robbed his home on the 21000 block of Western Boulevard, according to Sgt. Mark Ormsby.

The suspects entered the victim’s home at 8:11 a.m. — two of them armed with handguns, said Ormsby. They stole cash, jewelry and other valuables from the house.

The men ran from the home in an unknown direction.

The victim’s mother walked into the house, untied him and called 911.

Police said the resident was not injured. 

The suspects are in their 20s, said police. The first man is described as black, 5’6” to 5’9”, 160 pounds with a light goatee and dreadlocks. He was wearing blue jeans with a gray hooded sweatshirt. The second man is described as white or Latino, 250 to 300 pounds and has short brown hair. The third man is black; 5’10” with a thin build and short dreadlocks. He wore blue jeans with a black hooded sweatshirt.
