Cherryland Man Arrested In Connection With Double Shooting, Robbery at Redwood City Burger King

Bay City News — A Hayward man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with a double shooting and robbery that occurred at a Redwood City Burger King last month.

Frank Dryden, 35, was arrested Thursday around 1 p.m. as he was leaving a home in unincorporated Hayward on the 20000 block of Fuchsia Court, said Sgt. Sean Hart.

The home was under surveillance by Redwood City detectives. Dryden allegedly shot two Redwood City men, ages 32 and 29, on Dec. 4 shortly before 7 p.m. in the parking lot of a Burger King at 2201 Middlefield Road.

Detectives learned suspects had attempted to rob the men before shooting them, and then fleeing the scene in a white Buick with tinted windows.

Detectives identified Dryden as the suspect alleged to have fired the shots and obtained a warrant for his arrest, Hart said.
