Photos Of Car Wreck On Castro Valley Boulevard

A CHP chase on Friday ended in a collision at Castro Valley Blvd. and Forest Ave.

(Editor's note: Patch contributing photographer AJ Flores was on hand at this police action and filed these pictures.)

A police pursuit that ended Friday afternoon at Castro Valley Boulevard and Forest Avenue caused a mess. Westbound traffic was cut down to one lane as police, fire fighters and paramedics tended to an injured party and conducted an investiation.

It was not immediatley known why the Gold Buick was being pursued through Castro Valley.

But the Buick collided with a Blue Ford Explorer at the intersection. The driver and passenger of the Buick were arrested and treated by paramedics at the scene.

The female driver of the Ford was treated in her vehicle for some time before being tranfered to a gurney and taken away by ambulance.
