The cause of a one-alarm fire at Trinity Christian Fellowship Church in Castro Valley is currently being investigated.
The fire was reported at 2:10 a.m., said Alameda County fire spokeswoman Aisha Knowles.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found a classroom on the church’s property on fire.
According to Knowles, the fire was knocked out in 20 minutes, and it didn’t injure anyone or spread to other buildings.
Fire officials determined the fire started on the exterior of the building, spreading to the attic and into the interior of the building.
