Castro Valley CHP Increases DUI Patrol; Participate in Virtual Ride-Along

Go on a virtual ride-along with Castro Valley CHP as they increase their DUI patrol tonight.

Castro Valley California Highway Patrol will increase their DUI patrol tonight and through the rest of the month. Tonight, Twitter followers can go on a virtual ride-along with Castro Valley CHP starting at 8 p.m. and ending at 2 a.m.

CHP will tweet followers a behind-the scenes look into a night of DUI enforcement.

Castro Valley CHP, along with 21 other enforcement agencies, will be participating in the “Avoid the 21” program — an effort to raise public awareness about drunk driving.

Other Bay area law enforcement agencies that will also have a virtual ride-along include San Mateo PD, Palo Alto PD and Daly City PD.
