• 9:50 p.m.: A 24-year-old Union City man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Also, a 52-year-old Hayward man was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary. They were arrested on the 21300 block of Meekland Avenue. (Cherryland)

• 1:00 a.m.: A 19-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon and felony conspiracy. Also, a 29-year-old Hayward man was arrested on suspicion of felony conspiracy, felony assault with a deadly weapon, felony shooting at an inhabited dwelling or occupied vehicle and violation of probation.
