Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Firing a Gun, Forgery Top List of Local Incidents

Two arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy, one on suspicion of firing on a inhabited dwelling or occupied vehicle.

Sunday, March 20

  • 6:47 p.m.: A 35-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public and violating probation. He was arrested on the 600 block of Paseo del Rio. (San Lorenzo)
  • 9:44 p.m.: A 27-year-old Hayward man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. He was arrested on the 1300 block of Meekland Avenue. (Cherryland)
  • 9:50 p.m.: A 24-year-old Union City man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Also, a 52-year-old Hayward man was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary. They were arrested on the 21300 block of Meekland Avenue. (Cherryland)

Saturday, March 19

  • 1:27 a.m.: A 26-year-old Hayward man was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence (DUI). His vehicle was pulled over on the 400 block of Sunset Boulevard. (Cherryland)
  • 3:41 a.m.: A 28-year-old Hayward man was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence (DUI). He was arrested on the corner of Princeton and A streets. (Cherryland)

  • 1:00 a.m.: A 19-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon and felony conspiracy.
