Arson Likely in Early Morning Little League Fire
Police say they suspect arson in an early morning fire at the Ashland Little League fields near Edendale Middle School.
Police say they suspect arson in a small, early morning fire in San Lorenzo Thursday.
The Alameda County Sheriffs Office and the Alameda County Fire Department responded to a fire in the third baseline dugout at the Ashland Little League's south field just after 2:30 a.m. Thursday.
The entire right side of the dugout's roof was destroyed in the blaze and debris from the structure lay strewn nearby.

Deputies found fresh bike tracks leading away from the dugout, but no suspects, said Lt. Howard Jacobson of the Alameda County Sheriff's Office.
