Arrest Logs: DUIs, Assault and Battery, Possession of Burglary Tools

A 19-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested on suspicion of brandishing a firearm after being placed under citizen's arrest.

Sunday, March 20

  • 12:18 a.m.: A 42-year-old Castro Valley man and a 27-year-old Castro Valley man were arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public. They were arrested at the Castro Village Bowl.

Friday, March 18

  • 8:30 a.m.: A 19-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested on suspicion of assault and battery. He was arrested on the 8900 block of Redwood Road.

  • 6:30 a.m.: A 29-year-old Union City man was arrested on suspicion of possession of  burglary tools, driving with a revoked or suspended license, and violation of probation. His vehicle was pulled over on the corner of Redwood Road and Castro Valley Boulevard.
  • 5:04 p.m.: A 19-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested on suspicion of brandishing a firearm after being placed under citizen's arrest. He was arrested on the 4300 block of Heyer Avenue.
  • 7:31 p.m.: A 43-year-old Union City man was arrested on four warrants for two counts of driving with a revoked or suspended license, possession of burglary tools,and being drunk in public. He was arrested on the 22000 block of Vergil Street.

Tuesday, March 15

  • 12:12 a.m.: A 50-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence (DUI) and being under the influence of a controlled substance. His vehicle was pulled over on the corner of Foothill Blvd. and John Drive.

  • 12:03 p.m.: A 57-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested on a warrant for driving while being under the influence (DUI). He was arrested on the 18200 block of Crest Avenue.
