Arrests in Castro Valley between Aug. 1 and Aug. 7.

Sunday, Aug. 7

  • 12:16 am: A 32-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested on suspicion of battery and resisting arrest. He was arrested on the 20400 block of Beacon Hill Court.

Saturday, Aug. 6

  • 4:43 am: A 29-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and being in possession of burglary tools, and on a warrant for violating probation. He was arrested on the 22300 block of Center Street.
  • 11:16 am: A 35-year-old El Sobrante man was arrested on a warrant for being under the influence of a controlled substance. He was arrested at Eden Hospital on Lake Chabot Road.
  • 6:54 pm: A 20-year-old Hayward man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting. He was arrested on the 20600 block of Redwood Road.
  • 7:36 pm: Two 15-year-old Castro Valley women were arrested on suspicion of petty theft. They were arrested at the Rite Aid on the 3800 block of Castro Valley Boulevard.

  • 9:31 pm: A 32-year-old San Leandro man was arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property, grand theft auto and driving while privilege is revoked/suspended. He was arrested at the intersection of Highway 580 and Center Street.

Tuesday, Aug. 2

  • 10:25 pm: A 44-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public and violating probation. He was arrested on the 2700 block of Castro Valley Boulevard.

  • 7:49 pm: A 52-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested on suspicion of violating parole. He was arrested on the 20600 block of Redwood Road.
