Arrest Logs: Under the Influence, Forgery and Child Endangerment

Detailing arrests in the Castro Valley area between Feb. 7 and Feb. 13.

Here are some highlights from the arrest logs over the past week.

Thursday, Feb. 10

12:28 pm: A 53-year-old Castro Valley woman was arrested on suspicion of burglary and petty theft at the Safeway on Redwood Road.
2:34 pm: A 51-year-old Hayward man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. He was arrested on the corner of Grove Way and Center Street.
2:40 pm: A 57-year-old transient man was arrested on a bench warrant at the corner of Grove Way and Center Street.
2:52 pm: A 49-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of elder abuse. He was arrested at the Castro Valley BART station.
3:58 pm: A 20-year-old Daly City woman was arrested on suspicion of two counts of forgery, possession of a counterfeit item and identity theft. She was arrested on the 1200 block of Castro Valley Boulevard.
5:10 pm: A 42-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested on suspicion of corporal injury to a spouse or co-habitant. He was arrested on the 3200 block of Anita Court.

Friday, Feb. 11

8:45 am: A 40-year-old San Lorenzo man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested on the corner of Grove Way and Tanglewood Drive.
8:30 am: A 46-year-old Hayward man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. He was arrested on the corner of Grove Way and Tanglewood Drive.
8:16 pm: A 42-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia. He was arrested on the 500 block of Wisteria Street.

Saturday, Feb. 12

8:00 am: A 60-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested for suspicion of child endangerment and corporal injury to a spouse or co-habitant. He had a blood-alcohol level of .18, officers said. He was arrested on the 19000 block of Mayberry Drive.
10:52 pm: A 27-year-old Hayward man was arrested on two warrants and on suspicion of driving while under the influence, child endangerment, corporal injury to a spouse or co-habitant and possession of an open container in vehicle. His vehicle was pulled over at the corner of Castro Valley Boulevard and San Miguel Avenue.
At the same time and location, a 48-year-old Castro Valley man was arrested on suspicion of drinking in public.
