Hayward Promise Neighborhood Hosts 5K Run/Walk & Community Expo

Hayward Promise Neighborhood (HPN) will host a Healthy Promise Neighborhood Run, Walk, Stroll, and Roll & Community Resource Expo on Saturday, April 5th from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Hayward.

Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome to participate. Following the run/walk, participants will enjoy a HPN parade that will include staff and students from each of the HPN schools and various parents, community members and leaders involved in the HPN effort. The parade will march up Soto Road leading to the Community Resource Expo at the Eden Area Greenway, featuring: entertainment, food, kids’ activities, door prizes and more.

Walk/Run – 8:30 am (check-in) run/walk – 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at John Muir Center: 24823 Soto Road, Hayward

HPN parade – 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. - Up Soto Road leading to the Eden Area Greenway
