CVSan’s “Don’t Forget the Filter” Filter Exchange Program is part of a campaign to increase residential curbside recycling of used oil filters.

In October 2013, CVSan staff completed the fourth cycle of the program.  Over 150 residents have participated since the program began in Spring 2012.  The program is implemented twice a year (Spring and Fall), for six weeks at a time.  Single-family residents call WMAC 24-hours in advance of setting out a filter for curbside recycling, to receive a coupon in the mail from CVSan for a new filter.
