CVSan Scholarship for High School Seniors

Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan) is pleased to announce the 2013/14 CVSan Environmental Leader in Waste Reduction Scholarship for high school seniors.   This is the first year the scholarship is being made available, and may be awarded to up to two students as a way to recognize those who are helping their school to reduce waste by utilizing the tenets of the 4Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Rot.

CVSan values educating the community on how to reduce what we send to landfill.  The Environmental Leader in Waste Reduction Scholarship is intended to foster environmental stewardship and the leadership of those high school seniors who are taking action and are encouraging environmental awareness within their school and community.
