A neighbor found Husokowski unconscious and called 911. Alameda County Fire’s crew responded to the report and brought her to Eden Medical Center. Friends say she was on life-support and died a few hours later.

Husokowski donated her organs, including an organ that would be going to an 11-year-old child.

Her friends have created the Sara Husokowski Fund to raise money to help benefit her husband and 7-weeks-old son William.
