One time I ordered one chipotle chicken flatbread sandwich and one chicken fresco burrito.
Parked in the space just up ahead where customers could park to eat their food, the idea of a chicken fresco burrito didn’t sound as good to me anymore after finishing the chipotle chicken flatbread sandwich. I Wanted another chipotle chicken flatbread sandwich to replace this chicken fresco burrito with. I Thought for a moment about how often customers changed their minds about their orders as soon as they were finished and how many times I’ve had to remake their drinks without any complaints.
So I walked up to the window to tell the woman behind it that I had meant to order a chipotle chicken flatbread sandwich instead of one of their chicken fresco burritos. Unflinching, she said that wasn’t her problem and closed the window on me. Felt conflicted, being in her position so many times myself, while also feeling like one of my millions of unsatisfied customers.
Went back to my car and ate the chicken fresco burrito and noticed how over cooked the rice felt in my mouth that way. The chipotle chicken flatbread sandwiches were discontinued shortly after this incident. My friend told me about their discontinuation of this product.
While I don’t think that this incident had anything to do with it, I found how crushed my friend was over the discontinuation of the chipotle chicken flatbread sandwich really weird because I was the one who put him up on these sandwiches in the first place.
I bought him his first chipotle chicken flatbread sandwich at that location and I think that location is where I had my last.
