The City of Hayward will hold the “Light Up the Season” celebration on Thursday from 5 to 8:30 p.m.
The tree lighting ceremony will be in the rotunda at City Hall located at 777 B Street. The holiday celebration will include entertainment, an ice-skating rink, photos with Santa Claus and children’s rides.
The Salvation Army will be serving coffee and cocoa and St. Rose Hospital will be giving free flu shots to children. Listed below are the merchants offering discounts and refreshments to attendees:
