Drumroll, Please...First Cash Mob Locations Revealed!

An announcement of the locations for Saturday’s Cash Mobs in San Lorenzo and Castro Valley.

Tired of seeing local businesses you love close? Join the communities of San Lorenzo and Castro Valley as we rally together in a “” to support our local merchants!

If you are interested in participating in the San Lorenzo Cash Mob, meet this Saturday at 9 a.m. in the Lorenzo Manor Shopping Center parking lot, located on Hesperian Boulevard between Hacienda and Bockman Road. The San Lorenzo business will be Gala Bakery, and the event will run until 11 a.m.

For the Castro Valley Cash Mob, meet this Saturday at 12 noon in the parking lot on the corner of Castro Valley Boulevard and San Miguel Avenue (the corner where Blockbuster used to be). Trader Sporting Goods will be the business to be “mobbed” in Castro Valley, and the event will run until 2 p.m.

If you cannot make it to either location during the event times, stop by anytime on Saturday to show your support for these local merchants.

Facebook users, please RSVP to the event on our Page (either "San Lorenzo Cash Mob" or "Castro Valley Cash Mob"). Help us reach our goal of at least 50 people RSVP-ing “YES” to each event!

Spread the word and encourage your friends and family to come. The Cash Mob will only be successful with your help — hope to see you there!

If you would like to suggest a business for a future Cash Mob, you can connect with us on Facebook, Twitter (@cashmobcv or @cashmobslz), or via email at cashmobcv@gmail.com or cashmobslz@gmail.com.

Any locally owned businesses will be considered, but a retail establishment with strong community ties and a wide variety of merchandise makes a better Cash Mob location. This event is supported by the .
