Support Davis Street Family Resource Center's Holiday Program

Davis Street Family Resource Center will be holding their annual holiday Toy and Food Basket Program on Dec. 23 from 9 a.m. to noon (distribution will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

Volunteers will help prepare boxes of food and bags of toys for families in need. 

Over 500 income-eligible and holiday-registered families will be picking up food baskets and new toys from the Davis Family Resource Center on Monday

For several years, Alameda County Fire Department, community agencies, local schools, clubs, faith-based groups and businesses have provided food and toys for families throughout San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Castro Valley, Ashland and Cherryland.

Castro Valley Patch, San Leandro City Hall Leaders and Council Members, San Leandro School District Board Members, State Assemblyman Rob Bonta, State Senator Ellen Corbett, Supervisor Wilma Chan and other community members will be donating their time at the holiday program.

If interested in volunteering, please email mmusgrove@davisstreet.org. In the Subject Line please write: “VOLUNTEER, Saturday, Dec. 21, and how many people will be attending”. An adult must accompany minors under the age of 16.
