Fund Created for Valley Springs Manor Employees That Worked With No Pay
A fund has been created for the employees that stayed to take care of the patients at Valley Springs Manor after its closure.
The Rotary Club of Castro Valley has set up a fund for the employees of Valley Springs Manor that stayed behind to take care of the 14 patients that were found abandoned on Oct. 26.
The Valley Manor Employee Fund will be divided equally among the employees, and will be open until Dec. 31.
Funds will be distributed before Christmas. The balance of any late donations will be distributed by the end of the year.
