CVHS Senior to Compete in Miss Sing Tao Pageant: Vote for Kelly Chan

A senior from Castro Valley High School is competing in a local Chinese pageant for the title of Miss Sing Tao, which includes a $3,000 scholarship — along with other titles and scholarships such as Miss Photogenic, Miss Talent and Miss People’s Choice.

Kelly Chan wants to represent Castro Valley, but she needs the community’s help! Help Chan by voting for her on the online poll. She is listed first as ‘3. Kelly Chan’. The votes will count towards the Miss People’s Choice title and scholarship, and five percent of the overall score for the Miss Sing Tao title and scholarship. Voting ends on Dec. 18 at noon.

The Miss Sing Tao Pageant will be held on Dec. 21 at Cache Creek Casino’s Club 88, located in Brooks, at 4 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the pageant for 20 dollars. If a Cache Club card is opened, the ticket will be free. This event is for 21 and up. English, Cantonese and Mandarin will be spoken at the pageant.
