Castro Valley Resident Named to American Mensa Board of Directors

Stephanie Link also competed on an ABC reality TV series "The Glass House" in 2012.

Stephanie Link of Castro Valley, Calif., has been named Membership Officer on the American Mensa Board of Directors. She is a member of San Francisco Regional Mensa, which is one of 130 Mensa chapters nationwide.

“I am extremely pleased to have Stephanie serve as the Membership Officer on our Board of Directors and l look forward to working with her,” said American Mensa Executive Director Pamela L. Donahoo.

Link has been a member for more than 10 years and has previously served in volunteer positions in the Cincinnati, Boston, and San Francisco Mensa chapters. Link received her B.S. in chemistry from Wright State University and now works in the Shoppers Insights function at Safeway in the San Francisco Bay Area.

In 2012 she competed on an ABC reality TV series "The Glass House" after first being contacted about the auditions through Mensa. “I have had so many wonderful experiences during my years as a Mensa member, and am looking forward to serving the membership in this new role,” said Link.

Based in Arlington, Texas, American Mensa is an organization for anyone who scores in the top 2 percent of the general population on one of more than 200 standardized intelligence tests.  The organization has more than 56,000 members.
