Castro Valley Farmers' Market Opens for 2012 Season on Saturday

It's just about that time again!

The Castro Valley Famers' Market will kick off it's seasonal grand opening this Saturday, May 19 at the station's parking lot.

Market hours are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday, through October 27.

Locals can purchase fresh, seasonal and certified organic produce at the market. Folks can also shop for anything from specialty foods and baked goods to fresh-cut flowers and hand-crafted art, all while enjoying live entertainment.

The market is sponsored by , Alameda County and BART.
