Friends of Castro Valley Library General Meeting

Friends of the Castro Valley Library (FCVL)

General Meeting

The FCVL consists of Volunteers who receive and recycle books (hardback and paperback), magazines, CD's, DVD's, and various other items which are donated to the Library by hundreds of our local residents.  These materials are sold in the FCVL Book Store in the Castro Valley Library, and in several Book Sales we have throughout the year.  All proceeds are used to purchase and provide programs, materials, and/or services for our CV Library.  We are always looking for Volunteers to actively assist with these operations.

On Tuesday evening, August 14, 2012, everyone is welcome to attend a General Meeting of FCVL in the Castro Valley Library.  We will review our accomplishments to date and discuss plans for future operations.  The meeting will begin at 7:00PM and conclude at 8:30PM.  Light refreshments will be served.

Please join us for an informative evening among our group of "Friends".  Perhaps you will meet some new and interesting people, and your attendance and input will definitely help support our Castro Valley Library.  Be BIG, be BOLD, bring a Friend!
