Sea Scout Ship Makai Welcome Aboard Day

We are a male youth program for men ages
13-21 we focus on aquatic based activities such as cruising and swimming and
all aspects involved with safely and properly running a boat. We spend a couple
weeks in the Delta during the summer and take one of our multiple boats out
often. We recently won the National Flagship award which makes us the
current top ship/program in the U.S.A. and have won multiple first place
awards in scouting competitions the latest being aboard the U.S.S. Hornet
docked out in Alameda earlier this year. We have a normal training meeting
every Thursday at the San Leandro Community Church 7pm to 9pm and are very
active year round. This Saturday we are having a "Welcome Aboard Day"
where our ship is open to the public to invite all youth to check out our
program and ask us questions about the ship. We will have boat tours all
though out the day and other fun activities and events based off of our
program.
