Mariachi Festival

Annual Mariachi Festival Features:
Music, Dance and Family Fun

   Mariachi bands, ballet folclórico dancers, and an outdoor market celebrating Hispanic food and art will be featured at the fourth annual Hayward Mariachi Festival from 4 to 9 p.m. on Friday, October 11 at City Hall Plaza, 777 B St.

   This free, family-friendly event is hosted by the Hayward Chamber of Commerce Latino Business Roundtable and the City of Hayward.

   The event highlight is built around continuous music. This year’s featured performers are: Mariachi Juvenil de Hayward, Mariachi Halcones de Oakland, Mariachi Dos, and Mariachi Mexicanísimo. Dance troupes include Ballet Folclórico Xochipili and Ballet Folclórico Tlapalli. The event will showcase Mariachi Juvenil de Hayward, a youth mariachi with 50 performers.
