Houston Jones (high-octane Americana) - Backyard Concert in Castro Valley

Doors open at 4pm

If you have never experienced a house concert you are in for a real treat! House concerts are a friendly and informal way to hear great music and meet the performers. This back yard house concert, an evening of lightly-amplified acoustic music, takes place in the Castro Valley hills.

Houston Jones is a Bay Area Americana quintet that performs a mostly original repertoire of folk, bluegrass, blues and gospel. The band has released 6 CDs on the independent Summerhill Records label.

"A confluence of sublime talent" - San Francisco Chronicle.

"As good as any singing and picking I've heard in my thirty years in the music business. Do your friends a big favor and turn them on to this band." - Bob Brown, owner/Rancho Nicasio and manager/Huey Lewis and the News.

Houston Jones will perform 45-50 minutes, there will be a short break for conversation and refreshments, then the band will perform another 45-50 minutes of music.

Reservations are required. For details, directions and reservations, send an email to: debbiedawnpfisterer@gmail.com

Suggested donation: $20. 100% of the money received from these donations goes to the performers.
